To highlight duplicate values in Excel using conditional formatting, follow these steps:
- Select the range of cells that you want to check for duplicates.
- Click on the "Conditional Formatting" button in the "Home" tab of the ribbon.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Highlight Cells Rules" and then "Duplicate Values."
- In the "Duplicate Values" dialog box, select the formatting you want to apply to the duplicate values. For example, you can choose to highlight them in red.
- Click OK to close the dialog box, and Excel will highlight all the duplicate values in the selected range with the formatting you specified.
Note: You can also choose to highlight unique values, or values that occur more than a certain number of times, using the same steps but selecting the appropriate option in the "Duplicate Values" dialog box.
